UK midlands-based singer–songwriter Lauren Nicole is a rising talent in the UK electronic music scene. Studying music from an early age and eventually breaking through via the influential BBC introducing, Lauren has since grown a fan base via both local and international performances as well as having features, collaborations and cuts on a variety of successful releases.
Best known for her collaboration with Dubdogz and Kvsh whose song ‘Love It’ (on Spinnin Records) has amassed over 4 million streams, Lauren’s projects also include work alongside Brazilian songwriter and producer Brian Cohen (Selva), as well as emerging Brazilian superstar “Öwnboss” (whose song “Delusional’ has garnered over 1.5 million streams), Belgian artist of the year “Mattn” and German top producer Wanklemut.
Though Lauren’s primary influences lie within house music and EDM, she has also dipped her toe into the worlds of trance, urban, pop, J-pop and K-pop. The latter has garnered her even more fans across the Asian market following projects with several soloists and bands in Korea and Japan; this being cemented further when she travelled to Korea to work alongside several of the genre’s key players in 2022. In the world of Asian dance, Lauren also has a longstanding creative relationship with Japanese EDM artist “DJ Tora” writing and performing on a number of his tracks, two of which were included on the DJ’s chart-topping album “Tokyo Rave”.
Back on European soil, Lauren has also written a number of songs for up-and-coming Dutch youth girl band and junior Eurovision song contestants “Unity”, with their collaborative offering “Light It Up” topping the Netherlands youth charts. Indeed Lauren is never far from the studio with recent writing endeavor’s taking her into London’s famous Pirate studios as well as to sessions in Ibiza and the Netherlands.
Also active across the social landscape and with several viral videos on TikTok showcasing both her talent and vibrant personality, Lauren’s star continues in the ascendent.
