Suruba, or what in Brazilian means ´orgy´ is the word Delmar and Alvaro choose as an artistic name. An orgy of art that mixes music, design and fashion.
The two met in 2000 at the European Design Institute in Madrid, and from that moment they became significant actors in the music industry. Delmar and Alvaro form this Spanish duo of music producers, record label managers, designers and old school DJs.
Los Suruba has been enchanting their listeners for quite some time now with their mix of House, Minimal, Psychedelic and Deep Vibes. They define their music as Memories of the Future.
Los Suruba managed to flourish four record labels each one with its personality, Suruba, Suruba X, Playa and the most recent one Nazca. This last one it’s a unique project that links music with a fictional story inspired by ancient civilisations, the outer space, artificial and alien intelligence.
Awarded musical productions, tracks that have been in the top for weeks, a collaboration with fashion brand Marcelo Burlon – County of Milan, travelling all over the world are only a few of their achievements.
They have released with record labels like Crosstown Rebels, Diynamic, Last Night on Earth, Nazca, Get Physical, Culprit, Lazic, Tale & Tone, not to mention being remixed by international artists like Solomun, Sepp, Eric Volta, Kirik, Adriatique, Clarian, Okain, Santiago Garcia, Cristina Lazic, BRYZ, Enzo Leep or Theus Mago.
