8th March saw the launch of UN Women‘s global “March Forward” campaign featuring the GusGus song “Higher”. Lead by 13 National Committees including that of the bands home country UN Women Iceland , this campaign is one we are all very proud to be associated with. The goal of the campaign is to put gender equality at the centre of our conversations and push back against the ongoing backlash as well as to move forward in women’s rights worldwide. Truelove Music are all about “doing rights right” and that includes for women. We extend our celebration of women to the members of the Truelove Music team, our writers, artists and colleagues around the world – it’s an honour to work with you all.
